My journey in speech-language pathology began 23 years ago. Throughout my career, I have provided therapy across a wide range of areas, including autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, hearing impairment, early intervention, and voice therapy, both in Korea and internationally. Through these two decades of practice, I have realized that therapy is not merely about refining speech and pronunciation patterns, but about building a deep connection and empowering individuals to lead renewed lives through the power of communication.
I have been privileged to witness truly "magic moments"—One client, who could not pronounce a single consonant and struggled to speak for 12 years, was finally able to communicate with others. I’ve also seen children who remained non-verbal until age eight finally call out to their "Mom and Dad."
While this work requires a great deal of energy, these breakthroughs are what motivate me to do my best every day. I am thrilled to open Happy Sounds Speech Therapy in Pyeongtaek. My greatest hope is to continue experiencing these magic moments right here, working together with you.
